S
ince its launch last year,
Chute 8 Whiskey, a
brain-child of the Farm-
City Pro Rodeo, has
seen steady growth in
popularity. John Ufford
is the CEO of Portland-based Indio
Spirits where the whiskey and
vodka is distilled and bottled. He
said Chute 8 spirits are distributed
in Oregon, Nevada, California,
Arizona, Washington and Colorado
with plans to roll out distribution in
Texas, South Carolina and North
Carolina by the end of the summer.
While brand notoriety continues to
expand, sales are strongest in Chute
8’s home state.

well and he’s hopeful the products
will continue to move into additional
states across the U.S. Liquor laws
require spirits to be quali¿ ed in each
individual state, then the product
needs a distributor in that state before
