SUNDAY
12:26 a.m. - A woman was inten-
tionally hit by a car in the parking lot
at the Hermiston Conference Center,
415 S. Highway 395, while working
security for an event. The woman
had asked the suspect to stop “doing
burnouts” in the parking lot prior
to the hit-and-run. She refused an
ambulance.
3:30 a.m. - Umatilla police were
called to a home at Sunset Village
Mobile Home Park, 900 Umatilla
River Road, after a report of domestic
abuse.
9:30 a.m. - A man driving an
extended cab pickup speeding down
North Ott Road, Hermiston, hit a
“Children Playing” sign held by a local
resident with the truck’s mirror. The
caller said the speeding is a constant
problem in the area and requested
contact from a Umatilla County
sherif’s deputy.
11:40 a.m. - Two semi drivers at
Pilot Travel Center, 2115 S. Highway
395, Stanield, got into an argument
and one poked the other in the eye.
The injured man requested contact
from a Stanield police oicer.
2:45 p.m. - A resident of East
Punkin Center Road, Hermiston, called
the Umatilla County Sherif’s Oice to
report the theft of a 9mm semi-au-
tomatic Marakov pistol, two 8-round
clips and a holster. The caller named a
possible suspect.
SATURDAY
1:43 p.m. - Someone poured
something into a man’s gas tank
while it was parked overnight on
Hoop N Holler Lane, Irrigon, the man’s
mother reported.
3:43 p.m. - A man was approached
at the Hermiston Post Oice, 375 W.
Orchard Ave., and asked if he was a
police oicer. When he replied that
he wasn’t, the man told him “not
to play him.” When the caller said
again that he was not a police oicer,
the man punched another man. He
requested contact from a Hermiston
police oicer.
4:19 p.m. - Umatilla police
were called to a ight between two
women at McNary Market & Deli, 205
Willamette St.
4:36 p.m. - A resident of Alder
Avenue, Umatilla, reported someone
broke into her friend’s residence
again, after the locks had been
changed. She requested contact from
a Umatilla police oicer.
9:01 p.m. - Kids walking on Cedar
Road found mail on the ground, a
caller reported to the Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice.
9:04 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice was called to Love’s
Travel Stop, 78665 Tower Road,
Boardman, for a woman who was
asking truck drivers for money and
“getting mean with them” when they
told her no.
FRIDAY
10:25 a.m. - A couple in the vicin-
ity of Cedar Road, Irrigon, knocked
on doors asking for cigarettes and

walked through people’s yards, a
caller reported to the Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice.
11:57 a.m. - A resident of Cedar
Road, Irrigon, reported his ex-girl-
friend was outside trying to break into
his truck. She had also caused trouble
the previous night, the caller said.
1:17 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice was alerted that a
woman was assaulted on Brace Road,
Irrigon, and her attacker stole her cell
phone.
3:16 p.m. - A farm building on Co-
lumbia Lane, Irrigon, was burglarized,
the building’s owner reported to the
Morrow County Sherif’s Oice.
5:04 p.m. - A resident of North-
west Church Street, Heppner, reported
her fence was torn down, her outside
table and chairs were missing and her
back door was wide open. She sug-
gested possible culprits to a Morrow
County sherif’s deputy.
WEDNESDAY
12:48 a.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice, Umatilla Police
Department and the Boardman Police
Department responded to a report of
a ight at Sub Zero Restaurant, 100 W.
Highway 730, Irrigon.
8:49 a.m. - An employee of the
Oregon State University Extension
oice on Highway 74 outside Heppner
reported someone siphoned gas from
an Extension vehicle.
10:06 a.m. - A resident of Tri-Har-
bor Landing Apartments, 210 Klickitat
St., Umatilla, reported a cooler and
other items stolen from his doorstep
over the weekend.
10:35 a.m. - A passerby at North
First Street near the Columbia River
in Irrigon called the Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice to report a man in a
black Dodge pickup dumping pallets
on the riverbank at the end of the
street. The caller said the pickup left
toward Highway 730.
11:50 a.m. - A generator was
reported stolen from a residence on
South First Street, Irrigon. A Morrow
County sherif’s deputy took a theft
report.
12:36 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sherif’s Oice received a report of
fraud from a man who said someone
opened a Verizon account in his
name. He said he received an $800
bill from the cell phone company and
requested contact.
1:24 p.m. - A resident of Trail
Apartments, Boardman Ave.
N.E., Boardman, was arrested for
second-degree disorderly conduct by
Morrow County sherif’s deputies after
two women reported he “showed
himself inappropriately” to them.
4:58 p.m. - Break-ins at several
storage units at Steve’s Assured Se-
curity Storage, 80886 N. Highway 395,
Hermiston, were reported. The owner
requested contact from a Umatilla
County sherif’s deputy.
5:39 p.m. - A car that went of
the roadway at Old River Road and
Highway 730, Umatilla, and went into
the riverbed and started a grass ire.
There was no ire when emergency
responders arrived, but a power pole
had been taken out and powerlines
were dangling over the roadway.
6:16 p.m. - Stanield police
responded to a report of domestic
violence assault at a residence on
South Earl Street.
6:55 p.m. - A resident of Southeast
Utah Avenue, Irrigon, called the
Morrow County Sherif’s Oice to
complain about vehicles constantly
speeding in the neighborhood,
and “deputies never come down
their road.” He said he would start
throwing things at the speeders but a
deputy advised him not to.
8:40 p.m. - A resident of Bridge-
port Avenue, Umatilla, threatened
a pit bull-cross dog belonging to a
neighbor that tries to break through
the fence every time he mows his
lawn.
9:23 p.m. - A resident of Bufalo
Lane, Hermiston, reported the theft
of two vehicles, two car batteries, a
car stereo and more someone within
the last couple of months. He asked
a Umatilla County sherif’s deputy to
contact him at home.
11:27 p.m. - A man called the
Umatilla County Sherif’s Oice to
report someone shining a green laser
from a distance into the cab of one
of the locomotives parked on tracks
alongside Feedville Road, Hermiston.
Sherif’s deputies were unable to
locate the culprit.
11:41 p.m. - Boardman police and
ambulance crews were called to River-
view Mobile Court, 1370 E. Highway 730,
Irrigon, for a woman who had been
assaulted and wanted to press charges.
She was taken to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston.
