Catholic Church in Hermiston. Private burial will be held at St.

of Richland, Wash., died Sunday, July 10, 2016, in Kennewick,
Wash. He was born Feb. 26, 1980, in Oregon City. A celebra-
tion of life service with military honors will be held Saturday,
July 16, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Community Church in Herm-

12:05 a.m. - A man called the
Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office
after his wife was allegedly as-
saulted by another man and then
the couple was stranded on the
side of the road near Baxter Road
and Lark Lane, Hermiston.
2:37 a.m. - Two women report-
edly scuffled in a car eastbound
on Interstate 84 near Boardman.
Morrow County sheriff’s deputies
were unable to find the vehicle.
12:55 p.m. - Stanfield police re-
ceived a report of car break-ins on
West Furnish Avenue. A valuable
knife and a camouflage container
with paperwork were stolen from
one of the vehicles.
1:29 p.m. - Tires were reported
stolen from a semitrailer on an
empty lot on Lind Road, Herm-
iston.
2:44 p.m. - A residence of
Northwest Oregon Avenue, Irrigon,
reported a woman stole his blue
2010 Dodge Ram around 9 a.m. The
keys were in the vehicle, he said,
but there was very little fuel in the
tank. A Morrow County sheriff’s
deputy took a theft report.
8:10 p.m. - Morrow County
sheriff’s deputies investigated
a report of a man selling copper
wire out of the back of his pickup
at the Irrigon Shell Station, 300
S.E. Highway 730.
11:29 p.m. - The Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office responded
to a residence on Wilson Lane,
Boardman, after a caller reported

John “Mick” Cimmiyotti, 92, of Hermiston died Monday,
July 11, 2016. He was born June 25, 1924, in Clem, Ore. A cel-
ebration of life service with military honors will be held Satur-
day, July 16, at 10 a.m. at Burns Mortuary chapel in Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery. Burns Mortuary

were called to Pilot Travel Center,
2115 S. Highway 395, to break up a
fight between semi truck drivers.
10:32 a.m. - The Umatilla
County Sheriff’s Office investigat-
ed a domestic violence report at
a residence on John Day Street,
Umatilla.
6:23 p.m. - A resident of
North Cabana Road, Hermiston,
complained to the Umatilla County
Sheriff’s office that a woman is
stealing money from him.
6:49 p.m. - The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office, Boardman Police
Department and Boardman ambu-
lance were called to a residence on
Willow Fork Drive, Boardman, after
a report of a fight.
7:10 p.m. - A laptop and pos-
sibly other items were reported
stolen from a residence on Wilson
Lane, Boardman.
8:36 p.m. - A group of about
20 people, including at least one
woman, were reported fighting
on Northeast Oregon Avenue,
Irrigon. The fight had broken up by
the time Morrow County sheriff’s
deputies arrived at the scene.
11:02 p.m. - A car alarm star-
vs. Gregory Paul; seeks $1,320.14 plus
interest, costs and fees.

sheriff’s deputies are investigating
the report.
4:18 a.m. - The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office, Boardman Police
Department and Boardman am-
bulance were called to a residence
on Wilson Lane, Boardman, for a
woman who was in a dispute with
her boyfriend and thought she
may have a broken arm.
10:26 a.m. - A blue 2013 Toyota
Prius was reported stolen from
the vicinity of South First Street,
Irrigon.
11:17 a.m. - The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office received a report of
a $16,000 sewing machine from a
residence on Depot Lane, Irrigon.
4:34 p.m. - A man whose
car was backfiring took it apart
and thinks he may have found a
meth-making device. He met with
a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy
at the sheriff’s office in Heppner.
8:56 p.m. - A semi truck
driver assaulted another at Pilot
Travel Center, 2115 S. Highway 395,
Stanfield.
THURSDAY
9:16 a.m. - A woman came to
the Umatilla Police Department,
300 Sixth St., Umatilla, and report-
ed her ex-boyfriend was stalking
her and his actions are escalating.
Police are investigating.
10:01 a.m. - Renters moved
from a residence on Diagonal
Road, Hermiston, and took the
lawn mower, hutch, dining set
and more that belonged to the
property owner.
10:09 a.m. - An Ione woman
reported a man from Lexington
threatened to kill her and has
others coming to kill her.
11:20 a.m. - A woman asked law
enforcement to help her disabled
mother living on East Theater
Lane, Hermiston, to remove a dead
cat from under her residence.
11:31 a.m. - A Umatilla home
renter on Fifth Street reported the
owner showed up, yelled at her
and told her to leave the house by
8 p.m. She asked to speak to an
officer in person.
3:45 p.m. - Hermiston Parks is
requesting extra patrol at night
at Theater Sports Park, McKenzie
Park, and Butte Park. The Herm-
iston Parks and Rec department
have been having some problems
with people destroying the bath-
rooms at night.
6:14 p.m. - Four to five people
fought on the 400 block of South
First Street, Irrigon.
8:23 p.m. - A Hermiston-area
man reported he received a scam
