Joe worked as a truck
driver for many years be-
fore he found his place
farming. He was an in-
credibly hard work-
er and always gave
his all, no matter
what job he held. He
loved farming and
had planned to re-
tire this year to start
his own small farm
with his wife. He
loved carpentry and
was always building things
around the house. Fishing,
John Wayne westerns, fam-
ily barbecues and sleeping
under the stars were some
of his greatest joys in life.
Joe will be greatly
missed by his family and all
the people he worked with
along with the complete
strangers he met and of-
fered to help whether they
asked or not. He was truly
a man who would give you
the shirt off of his back. He
gave and gave and never
expected or wanted any-
thing in return. He took in
anybody who needed help.
His door was never closed.
His generosity was abso-
lutely amazing. It was who
he was and it will be what
he is always remembered
for.
A celebration of life will
be held June 10th at 10 a.m.
at Burns Mortuary chapel,
