LACROSSE:
sented the teams’ fourth-
straight loss on the season
as the offense has fall-
en into a bit of a slump.
Hermiston has scored
a combined 18 goals
in those four losses af-
ter scoring a combined
23 goals in the first two
wins. Walchi said that the
team needs to come back
to practice on Monday
with a plan to work even
harder if they want to get
back on track to reach
their season goal.
“A goal Trampis al-
ways had for us was he
wanted us to have a pos-
itive record because our
lacrosse team hasn’t had
a winning record for a
long time,” he said. “He
always called (the varsity
team) the tip of the sword
because our youth pro-
gram is growing and ev-
eryone’s success all starts
with us.”
As the team moves for-
ward, Arnold says that he
knows his hands will be
full trying to keep them
focused.
“It’ll be hard just to
keep the kids going in the
right direction,” he said.
“But just like any sports
team you have bumps in
the road, and we have to
keep pushing if we want
to make a run toward the
playoffs.”
