Mission:
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
We have three main areas of operation.
• Our Warming Station which provides emergency overnight shelter during the winter months, • A Day Center
which provides a warm place to stay during winter mornings and a cool place to stay during the hottest afternoons of
the summer, and
• Veda’s Breakfast, which provides a free, hot breakfast every Sunday morning all year long.
We will provide the homeless in
our community with warm and
safe overnight accommodations
within a quiet and welcoming
atmosphere from November 1
through March 31 when the
potential for hypothermia is ele-
vated. We will furnish homeless
and other needy individuals basic
sustenance in coordination with
other local charitable organiza-
tions. We will support the home-
less in their efforts to end their
homelessness.
We cooperate with local businesses to offer laundry and shower vouchers, provide personal hygiene items and cloth-
ing when available. Our personnel help with job searches and in fi nding support services appropriate to the need.
