Hermiston man dies in
crash, woman injured
A Hermiston man died

their car crashed into a semi.

jail-suspended, 2 years probation, 40
hours community service, $440 fine and
$1,250 fine-suspended, plus court costs
and fees.
•Marisa Halvorson, 34, Kennewick,
Wash., pleaded guilty to Physical Harass-
ment-domestic violence; sentenced to 90
days jail-suspended, 2 years probation,
20 hours community service, $440 fine
and $500 fine-suspended, plus court costs
and fees.
•Shawn Cory Sawyer, 37, Irrigon,
pleaded guilty to Driving While Suspend-

located in the mall near
Home Depot.
Vicki Muller of CAPE-
CO said the new of¿ces
are “bigger and a little bit
nicer” than the previous lo-
cation. The extra space has
allowed the organization to
expand its transportation
department.
CAPECO’s hours will
remain 8 a.m. to noon and
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday. Muller said
