They traveled throughout the West with Milton working on construc- tion projects. They settled in Hermiston, Oregon, in 1965 where they raised their fami- ly and have lived since. Shirley was active in FFA and very supportive of her children and grandchildren in their school, activities and sports endeavors. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, going on walks, and her time with grandchildren.
