Gettmann, 72,

away Satur-
day, Septem-
ber 19, 2015.
Larry was born to Ruben
and Burnice Gettmann in
1942 along with his broth-
er Ruben Richard and sister
Vicki (Bob) Smith. Larry
graduated from Hermiston
High School in 1962, then
immediately enlisted in the
Army.
Larry married Davalee
Beller November 7, 1965,
and had Rochelle Fay and
Brian Gettmann.
Larry worked at the
Umatilla Army Depot and
retired from the Corps of
Engineers. He was very in-
volved with his church. He
volunteered with Meals on
Wheels and enjoyed
working in his
yard.
Larry
had
two grandsons,
Skylar Guy and
Drake Andrew
Gettmann. He also had
many nieces and nephews.
In 2015 Larry married
Jack L. Frish after being do-
mestic partners for 40 years.
Preceding him in death
were his parents and Wilbur
Ray Gettmann, his brother.
A celebration of life will
be held October 3 at 1:00
p.m. at Metropolitan Com-
munity Church, 2625 W.
Bruneau Place, Kennewick,
Wash., with a potluck to fol-
low at Gettmann Hall.

(Snabel) Nash, 92,
passed away peace- Nash
fully on September
18, 2015, due to chronic
health issues.
Ellen was born Septem-
ber 22, 1922, in Spray, Or-
egon, one of eight siblings
born to Ezra and Hope Sna-
bel. Ellen attended grade
school in Spray, Oregon,
walking the three miles to
school every day. She grad-
uated from high school in
Prineville, Oregon, in 1940.
Ellen married Victor
“Bud” Nash on August 18,
1951, in Redmond, Oregon.
They operated Nash Ranch,
raising cattle, pigs, chick-
ens, sheep, alfalfa hay and
wheat. On March 23, 1993,
they moved to their home

her permanent home where
many friends and family
came to visit often.
After Bud’s passing in
2007, Ellen remained in her
home for two more years.
In 2009 she moved to Sun

recently moved to Guardian
Angel Homes in Hermiston.

children, Vickie, William
