was united in marriage to Bet-
ty Jean McMahon on July 27,
1947, in Vancouver, Washing-
ton. They lived in Clackamas
County, Oregon, and Dave
worked as a construction fore-
man for many years. They
moved to Stan¿ eld, Oregon, in
1989 and then to Woodburn,
Oregon, earlier this year where
they have lived since.
Dave was a member of
the American Legion Post
#37, Hermiston, Ore., and the
VFW Post #1324, Oregon
City, Ore. He enjoyed hunt-
ing, ¿ shing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife
of 68 years, Betty Jean Briley,
