An enthusiastic crowd is an essential ingredient to a good rodeo,
and the Farm-City Pro Rodeo’s grand entry plays a key part in that.
³,t gets the crowd ¿red up at the Eeginning,´ grand entry director
Torrie Griggs said.
Each night of the rodeo features a sweeping grand entry, with
nine cowgirls in the rodeo’s signature red, turquoise and gold rid-
ing into the arena carrying the rodeo’s eight sponsor Àags and the
American Àag. 2Yer the years the riders haYe changed and added
routines for different nights of the week, Eut their signature routine
has always Eeen performed to George 6trait’s +eartland.
³That routine and song has neYer changed,´ Griggs said.
