San Antonio, Texas January 18, 1942-July 7, 2015 Carole F. (Casper) Cook, age 73, passed away Tues- day, July 7, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas, shortly after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She was born in Herm- iston, Oregon, to Harm and Maude Casper. She attended Hermiston High School, and lived throughout Oregon Cook and Washington un- til moving to San Antonio in 1992. Carole is survived by her mate of 23 years, Wil- liam “Bill” Thompson; daughters Tammy (Cook) Cournoyer and Ter- ry (Cook) Aguilar; brothers Milton (Laura) and James (Donna) Casper; and sister Cheryl (Tom) Tucker. She is pre- ceded in death by her parents, brother Robert and sister El- eanor Elwood. Jason C. Anteau Hermiston November 23, 1971-July 24, 2015 Jason C. Anteau of Hermiston, Oregon, was born on Nov. 23, 1971, in Dearborn, Michigan, to parents David and Lynda Segraves Anteau. He died on July 24, 2015, in Pendleton, Oregon, as the result of a motorcycle acci- dent at the age of 43 years. Jason was raised and attended Anteau schools in Eastern Oregon with his family settling in Irrigon, Oregon, in 1985. Jason worked for Marlette Homes in Herm- iston, Oregon. He later was a wildland ¿ re¿ ghter for 1-A Construction & Fire and a partner with Colum- bia River Builders for 10 years. Jason went to work for the Oregon Department of Transportation in Herm- iston, Oregon, in 2010 and transferred to Heppner, Oregon, in 2013 where he was currently an area coor- dinator. Jason was united in marriage to Angela Stewart on Feb. 21, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and made their home in Hermiston, Oregon. He was a Hermiston vol- unteer ¿ remanEMT and on the Oregon State HazMat Team. Jason was the vice president of the East Desert Diamondbacks chapter of the Iron Order motorcycle club. He enjoyed hunting, ¿ shing, cooking, riding his Harley, working on vehi- cles, rodeoing, camping, and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Angie Anteau, Herm- iston, Ore.; son Trenten Anteau, Hermiston, Ore.; daughter Alex Anteau, Hermiston, Ore.; parents Dave and Lynda Anteau, Irrigon, Ore.; sister Kristen Anteau, Hermiston, Ore.; several aunts, uncles, niec- es, nephews, cousins, and many other members of his family. Jason was preceded in death by his brother, David Anteau II, his grandparents Buster and Arline Segraves, and his lifelong best friend Brian Brown.
