Former area resident Gary Lee Waxbom Sr., 64, of Lib-
by, Mont., died Monday, June 1, 2015, in Libby. He was
born Sept. 13, 1950, in Pendleton. Services will be held
Saturday, June 6 at Libby Assembly of God Church, with
a luncheon following at Wilkinson Hall. Arrangements
were handled by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home
in Libby.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4
• A caller reported a possible prowler in a garage on
West Gettman Road.
• A package was reportedly stolen from a mailbox on
West Madrona Avenue.
• A male and a female were reportedly fighting on
South Highway 395.
• A male reportedly stole a small vacuum from a busi-
ness on North First Street.
• A caller reported hearing gunshots on West Feedville
Road.
• On North Highway 395, a caller reported a male
refused to return a vehicle he borrowed.
• A red 3,000-watt portable Honda generator was re-
portedly stolen several weeks ago on Ordinance Road.
• A caller reported she received a suspicious message
on her answering machine from a male stating he was her
boyfriend. The male said he was going to visit her and
wanted to marry her.
• A caller reported someone threw a propane tank at
his door on West Main Street in Echo.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3
• Someone reportedly broke into a vehicle on West
Hermiston Avenue and stole a phone and a wallet.
• A caller reported a juvenile came over to her resi-
dence on Southeast Sixth Street and “got her son high
last night” and she thinks they had been using drugs until
she called at 6:18 a.m.
• A person reported there was a purple pipe outside
of the Hermiston Police Department lobby door on South
First Street.
• A Washington State Department of Corrections
employee reported receiving a tip on the location of a
fugitive on West Ridgeway Avenue.
• A female reported someone staying at her residence
on Southeast Sixth Street left behind a “white powdery
substance” that she believes may be some type of drug.
• A caller reported a male borrowed her vehicle on
West Ridgeway Avenue and failed to return it.
• A caller reported people were dealing drugs at New-
port Park on East Newport Avenue.
• On White Lane, a caller reported her ex had been
threatening to burn her belongings if she did not come
by to talk to him. She said she received a text message
from someone else stating the ex was burning her cargo
trailer.
• A female was reportedly assaulted on Northeast 10th
Street.
TUESDAY, JUNE 2
• A caller reported two males were on the roof of a
business on South Highway 395 with flashlights.
• A caller reported his male red heeler got out of a yard
on West Orchard Avenue.
• A vehicle driver side window was reportedly broken
on East Beebe Avenue.
• An apartment manager on West Sunland Avenue re-
ported a male entered the residence of a tenant, who was
out of town. The caller advised no one should be there.
• On North First Street, a caller reported a male had
been stalking her at her place of employment and her
church for several months.
• Several items were reportedly stolen from a vehicle
parked on West Theater Lane.
MONDAY, JUNE 1
• A male and a female reportedly broke the passenger
window of a silver van and stole items from the vehicle on
North First Street.
• A female and a male reportedly stole a gas can from
a lawn caretaker’s vehicle on Southeast Seventh Street.
• A caller reported losing a white envelope containing
$3,000 on East Main Street.
• A caller reported a front vehicle license plate was
stolen May 30 on North First Street.
• A caller reported a male and a female were suspi-
ciously watching an apartment complex on Northwest
10th Place from a silver car.
• A male reportedly stole a mirror from a business
bathroom on South Highway 395.
• A caller reported he was being chased by a male on
Umatilla River Road.
