STATEMENT OF CHANGES IN ACTIVITIES and SOURCES OF FINANCING
The total approved budget for the 2015-2016 fiscal year represents an increase of $5.05M over the current year. Included in these
figures is a 9.7% increase, equivalent to $4.58M, in the General Fund, bringing the fund total to $52.0M. The General Fund increase
stems primarily from projected growth in ADMw (average daily membership weighted) due to full day kindergarten weighting and
forecasted student growth, additional resources as a result of the School Boardʼs decision to opt out of the Intermountain Education
Service District, and the legislatureʼs decision to split the biennial state school fund allocation equally over the two year term, rather
than the historic 49%/51% split.
