Enrollment open
for Echo Preschool
The Echo School Dis-
trict will again offer a full-
day preschool program for
4-year-olds for the 2015-
2016 school year. The pro-
gram is designed to provide
working families, who
would otherwise not have
a preschool option in the
area.
Enrollment for the pre-
school is open now. There
will be a preschool open
house and informational
meeting at 6 p.m. Tues-
day, with the opportunity to
meet the teacher. The pre-
school is across the street
from Echo High School.
Echo Preschool has the
following options:
• Before-School Pro-
gram, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30
a.m., cost $25 per month
• Traditional All-Day
Class, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45
p.m., cost $400 per month
• After-School Program,
3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m., cost
$25 per month.
Traditional all-day class
includes breakfast and
lunch. The after-school pro-
gram includes a snack.

hosts garden tour
P.E.O. Chapter DR is
hosting its 11th annual
Hermiston Garden Tour
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June
13.
For $10, people can tour
six local gardens featured
at various locations in the
city. The gardens, along
