OBITUARY
Klamath Falls
June 11, 1938-April 19, 2015
Kelly K. Adams, of Klam-
ath Falls, Oregon, passed away
on April 19, 2015, at a care fa-
cility in Medford, Oregon.
Kelly was born on June 11,
1938, in Hermiston,
Oregon, to William
“Bill” and Irene Ad-
ams. He was raised in
Echo, Oregon, where
he graduated from
Echo High School
with the class of 1956.
On August 27, Adams
1959, Kelly married
Betty Correa, also of Echo.
They had three daughters,
Martie, Teri and Vickie. They
later divorced and Kelly mar-
ried Charlotte Staub, and be-
came a father to her daughter,
Cookie.
During his high school
years Kelly had a passion for
fast cars and was rumored
to have outrun local law en-
forcement on more than one
occasion. His love of a nice
car stayed with him through-
out his life, and the thrill of a
fast ride included dragsters,
speed boats and snowmobiles
as an adult. He enjoyed trap-
shooting, vacations to Wal-
lowa Lake and snowmobiling
with family and friends. He
retired from Weyerhauser
Timber Company in
Klamath Falls, where
he worked most his
adult life.
Survivors include
wife Charlotte of
Klamath Falls, daugh-
ter Cookie Lockhart
and her husband
Harvey, as well as
daughters Martie Correa
and husband Chuck, Teri
Doherty and husband Ray-
mond, and Vickie Kenny
and husband Jim. He is also
survived by his sister, Sharon
Wilson, niece Michelle Wil-
son, nine grandchildren, and
two great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his
parents and an infant grand-
daughter, Riley Doherty.
A private memorial will
be held at a later date by his
three oldest daughters, with
his ashes spread in one of his
favorite places.

a restaurant on South Highway 395.
• A caller reported medication was stolen from the mail on
Southwest Joseph Drive.
• A male was reportedly lying on top of a vehicle refusing to let
a female leave on West Ridgeway Avenue.
• On North First Street, a caller reported possible ongoing
credit card fraud.
• A female reported a male tried to touch her and threatened
her on East Pine Avenue because she wouldn’t take his number.
• Items were reportedly stolen from three vehicles on Dean
Avenue in Umatilla.
• A caller reported a male refused to return her vehicle after
borrowing it on Umatilla Avenue in Umatilla.
• On Willamette Avenue in Umatilla, a caller reported hearing
gunshots.
• A caller reported hearing two gunshots on Southshore Drive
in Umatilla.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29
• A male was reportedly exposing himself to vehicles driving by
a church on Southwest 11th Street.
• A caller reported someone drove off the road through a chain
link fence overnight on Southwest 17th Street.
• A female employee reportedly stole from a business on North
First Street.
• An employee reportedly stole from a business on South
Highway 395.
• A male reportedly threatened a female on East Hurlburt.
• A male was reportedly opening mailboxes on Southwest
Ninth.
• Someone reportedly stole a vehicle license plate on North-
east 10th Street.
• Two adult males were reportedly “playing chicken” with a
train on East Loop Road.
• A caller reported gunshot damage to a building window at
George Park on West Main Street in Echo.
• On Walla Walla Street in Umatilla, a caller received a fraudu-
lent call advising he won money but had to pay a fee to receive it.

• A male was reportedly assaulted on East Dogwood Avenue.
• Items were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on North First.
