Donavon L. “Don” Craven, 74, of Umatilla died Thurs-
day, April 2, 2015, at his home. He was born Sept. 25,
1940, in Burleigh County, North Dakota. A celebration of
life service will be held Wednesday, April 8 at 1 p.m. at
Burns Mortuary chapel, Hermiston. A graveside service
will follow at 3 p.m. at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.

fundraiser coming up reception for artist
The Columbia Grange
will be having a fundraiser
breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10
a.m. Saturday at the hall,

than $20. The breakfast will
raise money to help pay for
the Grange’s new septic ser-

R. Gove graduated from basic
military training at Joint Base
San Antonio-Lackland, San

The airman completed an
intensive, eight-week pro-
gram that included training
in military discipline and
studies, Air Force core val-

warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic
training earn four credits toward
an associate in applied science
degree through the Community
College of the Air Force.
