ease. Dallas was born in
Edgemont, S.D., on Sep-
tember 6, 1939, to Violet and
Lowell Terry. He attended
schools in Edgemont, S.D.,
and Wyoming. He joined
the Marines in 1958 and
served with an honorable
discharge in 1962.
He worked in Edgemont,
S.D., at a grocery store, car
dealership, and theater. He
then went to work for civil
service which took him to
Umatilla, Ore., Hawthorne,
Nev., and Ft. Huachuca,
Ariz. He met Darla Marie
Widmar and they married
Florence Henley Coffelt,
94, of Hermiston, Oregon,
passed away on March 5,
2015. Florence was born to
William and Jane (Mason)
Henley in Albuquer-
que, New Mexico, on
September 25, 1920.
She was the eighth
of 11 children, and
as a child lived in
Albuquerque, Cha-
ma and Farmington,
Coffelt
New Mexico.
Florence
was
united in marriage to Mar-
vin Boyd Coffelt and then
in 1944 followed him to
Paso Robles, Calif., and
after his deployment over-
seas she moved to San Jose,
Calif. After Marvin’s retire-
ment in 1981 they moved to
Hermiston, Oregon, where
she resided until her death.
Florence was a stay-

three children as well as
