New Record Set At U.O.D.
Orville Pedigo’s crew of firemen
has set a new record at Umatilla Ord-
nance Depot. Not only have they
reached the 100 per cent participation
in the payroll savings plan of pur-
chase of War Savings Bonds, but they
have set a new record of 100 per cent
participation in taking a bond a pay-
day beginning
with made

period.
The men who have
record are: Orville Pedigo, Bernard
Kendall, Joe Waterman, James Meade,
Samuel Meade, and George Russell.
That really gives the rest of the
depot something to shoot at. Wonder
how many more crews can equal that
record during this Fourth War Loan
Bond Drive which closes February 14.
