Notice is hereby given than an election will be held in School District No.
14, of Umatilla County, State of Oregon, at 3:00 p. m.. August 27, at the
school house in said school district, for the purpose of submitting to the legal
voters of said district the question of increasing the tax levy for the year
1943-44 over the amount limited by section 11, article XL of the Constitution
of Oregon.
The reasons for increasing such levy are: Additional cost in running the
school.
The amount of tax, in excess of the 6% limitation, propised to be levied
for said year is $6,126.96.
