This hilarious 3-act comedy will be
staged in the school auditorium Fri-
day, November 28, at 8 o’clock, The
roles of the two brothers, Tom and
Gary Blake will be portrayed by
Kenny Elwood and Bill Bucknum.
They have journalistic tendencies and
their writings get them into all sorts
of jack pots, even with their unsym
pathetic land lady, Mrs. Perkins,
played by Doris Follett.
JUNIORS TO PRESENT
COMEDY NOV. 28TH
“Practice for the junior play, ‘Mis
takes at the Blakes’,’ is coming along
fine,” says Miss Lynch, the director.
“We’ve had a bit of difficulty in fill
ing the part of 'Billikins' which was
originally given to Jack Drake, but
things seem to be ironing out very
nicely.”
Lyle Tilden does a bit of clever
acting in his portrayal of the timid
lawyer, Herman Carter, and he ap
pears to be rather hen-pecked by his
better half, Mrs. Carter, enacted by
Mary Sommerer.

both of them. When she does not get
her own way, she rings in her prize-
fighting brother, Billikins, who al
ways get the situation a little more
entangled. Billikins will be played by
David Hamm, a post-graduate.
