THE HERMISTON HERALD, HERMISTON. OREGON.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER
paniment.
Pallbearers were Claude McCall,
Ernest Greathouse, Jim Owens, Mar
tin Refvem, and Homer Hedrick. Mr.
Prann had charge. Cremation took
place in Pendleton.
Mrs. Blanche Jouannault was born
October 19, 1868 at Turino, Italy, and
passed away October 8, 1941. She was
married to Lucian Jouannault April
6, 1906 in San Francisco. They came
to Stanfield in 1921. She was a mem
ber of the Stanfield Women’s Study
club since 1932 and her first paper
was Art Pictures of the Holy Land.
She was an executive member of the
club for many years, and secretary
of the Ladies' Aid for six successive
years and was an earnest worker in
both societies. She was also prom
inent in civic life.
Her father, Valentini, was a great
opera tenor and she herself had sung
a great deal. Her daughters and
granddaughters also were educated
in music.
Survivors are her daughters, Mrs.
Mamie Bottger of Stanfield and Mrs.
Edgar Hanson of Tacoma. Seven
grandchildren, Mrs. Stanley Holman,
Mrs. Harold Morton, Mrs.
W
Jones, Antony Rolando, Norman Ro
lando, Herman Bottger and Mrs. Fred
Heidt of Portlad; and five great-
grandchildren, and her widower, Lu
cian Jouannault. The numerous floral
offerings were very beautiful.
