The conference pledged itself to

production was reached in Oregon in
1940, according to the Oregon dairy
products report just issued by the
state department of agriculture in co-
operation with the agriculture mar­
keting service of the USDA. Cream­
ery butter output reached 32,130,270
pounds, an increase of 1,003,270
pounds over 1939. American or ched-
der cheese manufactured in Oregon
last year totaled more than 21 mil-
