Eastern Oregon College of Educa
tio n The Eastern Oregon High
School Music Festival will be held at
the Eastern Oregon College of Edu-
! cation on April 25 and 26, accord
ing to an announcement made by
John M. Miller, director of teacher
training at the college and in gener
al charge of festival arrangements.
The festival will constitute the of
ficial contest for all high schools of
va tern Oregon and will also include
a non-competitive division scheduled
for the 26th. A critic will be on
hand to give suggestions and criti
cisms for the benefit of the non-com
petitors.
Instrumental events o f the compe
titive contests of the two-day festi
val will be held on Friday. April 25,
and vocal numbers on Saturday. The
various events will include hand,
ela sos A, B. C. D: orchestra, same
classes mixed choruses, classes A, B,
C: boys’ choruses, same classes:
gii ’ choruses, same classes: vocal
in instrumental solos and vocal and
ins -umental ensembles from all
classes.
High schools are classified accord
ing to total enrollment as follows:
