A total of $134.89 was realized by
various means during the past week
through the efforts of different or
ganizations of the west end Umatilla
county cities for President Roosevelt’s
campaign against infantile paralysis.
Mrs. W. M. Marbut, who headed the
campaign here, reported Wednesday
that the Saturday night dance netted
approximately $109.
Organizations which made contri
butions included the Farm Bureau
Co-operative, $5.00: Townsend club,
85.00 and Steele’s orchestra, $5.00.
The remainder of the money was ob
tained through the cooperation of or
ganizations of nearby cities and by
the placing of miniature banks In
various business locations. The mon
ey was turned over to Georgo L. Lew-
