miston General hospital.
Mrs. L. Hibbard of Eugene arrived

idays at the home of her son and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hibbard.
Edith Clarke and Allan Clarke ar­
rived home Wednesday from Eugene
and will remain with their parents
till after New Years. Miss Clarke’s
school was closed due to the flu.
Lee Savely and daughter Nell
Marie of Haines, Oregon, spent Sun­
day at the Harry Andrews home. Mr.
Savely formerly owned the Andrews
ranch but is now engaging in stock
raising near Haines.
Miss Myrthena Martin, formerly a
teacher in the Columbia grade school
and now teaching in Boardman, was
a week end visitor at the home of
Mrs. Rena Waterman.
Mrs. Howard Packard is a medical
patient at the Hermiston General
hospital.
Eugene Pierce and Rudy Rodda of
Pendleton spent Sunday with the for­

Anderson Viens Ice Follies
S. A. Anderson spent from Sunday
until Tuesday in Portland on busi­
ness and pleasure. Monday night he
attended the ice follies exhibition at
the Portland Coliseum. He states
that the skating was above the ordi­
nary.
