CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES
« ftO U L " was the subject of the
0 Lesson-Sermon in all Churches
of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, Feb
ruary 18.
The Golden Text was, “I will set
my tabernacle among you: and my
soul shall not abhor you. And I will
walk among you, and will be your
God, and ye shall be my people”
(Leviticus 26:11,12).
Among the citations which com
prised the Lesson-Sermon was the
following from the Bible: “For the
Lord God k a sun and shield: the
Lord will give grace and glory: no
good thing will he withhold from
them th a t walk uprightly" <Ps.
84:11).
The Lesson-Sermon also included
the following correlative passages
from the C hristian Science text
book. “Science and H ealth with Key
to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker
Eddy: "Day may decline and shad
ows fall, but darkness flees when the
earth has again turned upon its
axis The sun is not affected by the
revolution of the earth. So Science
reveals Soul as Ood. untouched by
sin and death. — as the central Life
and intelligence around which circle
harm oniously all things In the sys
tems of Mind ’ <p. 110).
