Mrs. Bert Dexter entertained at
her home last Wednesday with a
shower honoring Mrs. Earl Leach. A
large crowd was present and many
lovely gifts were received by the
honoree.
Ray Sparks, who has been living
on the George Kendler place the past
nine months, moved out last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leach of Uma
tilla who purchased the Kendler
place recently took possession Sun
day.

costal church Sunday. Three servi
ces were held during the day. The
meetings will continue until Sunday
November 19th.
Rev. and Mrs. Harness, Rev. Mur
phy and Mrs. Tom Caldwell attended
the fellowship meeting at Pasco
Monday .
The Ladies Aid of the Communi
ty church held an all day meeting
and pot luck dinner at the home of
Mrs. George Rand Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Clair Caldwell are
building a large addition to their
residence in Irrigon.
Mrs. Nina Harris and two daugh
ters from Portland visited their par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrer over the
week end.
William Dent of Boardman was
an over night guest of Mr. and Mrs.
Tom Caldwell Saturday night.
