Saylor’s report a fine December
business, much in excess of Novem­
ber in all lines of clothing and spe­
cial goods for presents tor Christ­
mas.
Brierley’s business is reported
good In all lines of small articles,
and heavy sales In holiday cards.
Ruby McMillan has sold a large
quantity of silk lingerie and hose,
as well as desses and handkerchiefs.
Yeager's bakery has had a special
trade in cakes, pies and cookies.
A. W. Behrman has had good
sales of lockets, chains, watches and
small jewelry.
Mor-Tone Sound Service has sold
a number of radios and electrical
articles.
Ben O’Conner reports a normal
business with special increase the
last few days.
Hale’s is well satisfied with the
season’s business, and many articles
have been sold to Christmas trade.
Rohrman's report one of the best
months of the year in the automo­
bile business, but no Christmas goods
on hand.
All service stations report a large
sale of gas and oil and some car ac­
cessories.
Christmas travel has
swelled their, sales, which would
have been greater had the weather
permitted normal travel.

turned from Texas where they had
been visiting for some time.
Miss Barbara Reid returned from
O.S.C. Friday to spend the vacation
with her parents.
Miss Edna Ott is expected home
this week to spend the vacation with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J Ott.
Mrs. Elmer Ryland Is much Im­
proved at this writing.
Miss Nina Rae McCulley returned
home from O.S.C. this week to spend
the vacation with her parents, Mr.

Miss Myrthena Martin will leave
this week end to spend the holidays
