Mrs. A. M. Waterman, mother of
Mrs. Rena Waterman, with whom
she had made her home for 22 years,
passed away Thursday, August 11,
following an Illness of two years.
Funeral services were held in the
Methodist church Sunday afternoon
at which Rev. Kearns Cushing, Jr.,
presided. Prann’s Funeral Parlors
had charge of the arrangements.
She was born at St. Stephen, New
Brunswick, In Canada, and came
west to the Canyon City mining
town in 1870 where she married.
After her husband’s death In 1884,
she moved to The Dalles where she
lived until coming to Hermiston.
Those surviving are two daugh­
ters, Mrs. Rena Waterman. Hermis­
ton, and Mrs. Anna McCallum of
John Day, Ore., 11 grandchildren
and 21 great grandchildren.
Pall bearers were R. A. Brown-
son, Harry Kelley, David Mittles-
dorf, Earl Bensel, Harry Connor
and W. L. Hamm. Interment was in
the Hermiston cemetery.
