Eugene- A proxim ately 100 cities
from th e four corners of Oregon and
th e g rea t N orthw est have signified
th e ir in te n tio n of jo in in g th e In d u s
tria l and P ioneer parades to be held
in Eugene in conjunction w ith the
Oregon T rail P ag ean t celebration
h ere on Ju ly 22, 23, and 24. The
pioneer parade, an o u tstan d in g fea

P ag ean t celebration,
w ill be directed by one of O regon’s
rea l pioneers. Cal Young, d irect de
scen d an t of the first fam ily to settle
in th e Oregon country. The parade,
w hich th ree years ago was nearly
four m iles long will consist of floats

Oregon pioneer, all draw n by liv e
