joyed a play day in Boardman Wed­
nesday afternoon to which Lexing­
ton and Irrigon schools were also
invited.

Junior prom in Hermiston Friday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hull spent
Mother's Day with Mrs. Hull's moth­
er in Spokane.
Delbert Van Schoiack, Frances
Bray, Erma Byrnes, Patsy Cooney.
Gene Hiatt and Leonard Montgom­
ery represented the Umatilla school
in the tennis tournament in Her­
miston Friday and Saturday.
Marcellus Bray from Camp Hill-
gard visited at the home of his par­
ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Bray dur­
ing the week end.
Walter Ostrom returned to Uma­
tilla Saturday from Pendleton where
he has been employed.
Mrs. Joe Springer returned home
Saturday from Portland where she
has been for several days.
Several Umatilla people attended
the music festival in Hermiston Fri­
day afternoon in which Stanfield,
Echo, Hermiston
and
Umatilla
schools were represented.
