The Epworth League Cabinet met
at the church Monday night and
made plans for the activities of the
league for the next three months.
Mrs. Mary Morrow of Portland is
visiting at the home of her daugh­
ter, Mrs. A. W. Christopherson.
Dr. and Mrs. Christopherson mo­
tored to Pendleton Sunday
where
they spent the day with Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Toole.
Mrs. M. T. Matott and daughters,
Rosella and Janice, returned Satur-
day from Portland where they jour-
neyed to see Old Ironside*.
W. W. Felthouse left Monday for
Klamath Falls. Ore., where he will
attend to business affairs in that
city.
Lloyd Moore is the proud owner
of a new Ford V-8 purchased the
first of the week from Rohrman
Motor company.
Mrs. Otis Hampton and son and
Mr. and Mrs. Orai Hendrickson mo-
tored to Pendleton the last of the
week on a shopping tour.
Miss Hendrickson, nurse at the
Hermiston hospital is having the
hospital refintshed and rearranged
and new equipment installed.
Mrs. Ina Wessen, who is in the
Hermiston hospital receiving medi­
cal treatment, is reported as im­
proving rapidiy. She had her tonsils
removed the first of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Baronwell left
Friday of last week for Pendleton
where they will make their home.
Mr. Barnonwell is connected with
the state highway surveyors.
Mrs. Herbert Haneline, who has-
been visiting her mother, Mrs. Geo.
Mitchell in Walla Walla the past
week returned to her home here
Saturday. Mr. Haneline motored to
Walla Walla Saturday bringing Mrs.
Haneline back with him.
