derelict animal trainer.
Beatty in the story contracts with
a circus owner to put on a spectac
ular act of 20 lions and 20 tigers
in the same cage, a big one. hence
the title. It mil lit be emphasized
that Beatty really is noted as an
animal trainer, a career he has fol
lowed for 13 yea.s with small and
large circuses.
Miss Page and Ford are sweet
hearts in the story. Ford, an animal
trainer suffering from a bad case of
nerves due to having been terribly
mauled while training some ani
mals, arouses the sympathy of Bea
tty. who offers to assist him in over
coming his fear and continuing his
career. There is a tragedy when Hat
ton attempts to play up to his son's
estimate at his dad that he is the
world's greatest animal trainer. A
year later Miss Page is a central
figure of a near tragedy which
forms the climax of the yarn.
The second thrilling chapter of
the “Last Frontier” will also be
shown.
