Bell Marie O'Neill of Centralia,
Wn., who has been visiting her aunt

gon, arrived Wednesday morning
and will spend part of her vacation
with her friend Miss Pauline Stoop.

his son Eugene, now of LaGrande

day. Mr. Winters says that he is
doing a fine business in his new

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hiebert of
Dallas. Oregon, stopped in Hermis-
ton Friday to visit Alfred Quiring
while enroute to their home from
Mountain
Lake, Minnesota. The
young couple were recently married
in Mountain Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Burnham and
daughters Mary and Marjorie return­
ed Wednesday from a trip to Ellens-
berg, Wn., where Mr. Burnham met
his brother, F. A. Burnham, whom
he has not seen for five years. They
visited from Sunday until Tuesday
with other relatives and friends.
MaMrjorie will enroll in the Ellens-
berg Normal this fall.
Jack Upham of Washington, D. C.
spent Wednesday night with his
uncle, C. L. Upham, and cousin, Dick
Upham, in Columbia district. He is
with the federal biological survey
department. Mr. upham had not
seen him for 22 years.
