W hen a com m ittee representing co
operative organizations from the
Hermiston and Stanfield project
waited upon the County Court, it
was intim ated that they m ight be
able to get enough money from a
county emergency fund to continue
operation of th is office.
But ap-
parently their intention is to cut
the County A gent’s stenographer to
half time in order to m aintain the
Hermiston office.
Is the County Cour trying to make
it appear that they are cutting ex
penses for taxpayers when they are
crippling an in stitu tion useful to
the county?
