Service Charge on Returned Check*
Bank examners can't borrow money
from banks, being In that respect1
like a good many more of us.
Beginning on June 16th where checks are return­
ed for insufficient funds, or for being post-dated,
or checks which cause an overdraft, a charge of
twenty-five cents shall be made to the drawer’s ac­
count by the Bank returning the check. This charge
is to cover messenger service and bookkeeping costs
involved in handling returned checks.
