Y O U R CHICKEN H O U SE
This gives you a stock that will build an absolutely tight chick
en house at the game price as green lumber would cost. You cannot
afford to take a chance on using green lumber for a chicken
bouse when we will guarantee the stock that we furnish not to
shrink.

The persistence of the wild life
close to the hnunta of man and his
works la more than remarkable.
When man first Intruded Into the
wilderness places wild animals were
Ids easy prey. They did not know
anything about hltn and probably
looked upon him only as some fellow
animal who had come to share their
lot. They were disillusioned fast
enough and they learned quick les
sons from disillusionment.
Today wild animals know how to
car. for theinselvea. For years their
ranks rnpldly decreased, hut when
man believed that the vanishing point
almost had been reached there were
seen signs of Increase. All tha an
Imala had become “foxy.”

Newport, Eng.—Young chicks
have been made to grow twice
as fast by use of electricity, says
Prof. Borlases Matthews, a poul

were treated for nine weks with
ultra-violet rays.
.Professor Matthews advises
poultry farmers either to give
chickens electrically made ozone
as provided in London under
ground railways or to bathe
them with electricity radiated
from electric wires over their
perches at night. He contends
the yield In eggs would be In
