POSTMASTER GEN. HARRY NEW
”A pessimist is a man with one
speed forward and three in reverse.”
The Mother who has a Haag Vortex Washer has no worries about the
kiddies’ clean elothee. And it doe. not matter how deep the dirt
grinds or how badly they are aoLiel, for they are easily and quickly
washed.
Another thing Mother appreciate» is the fa ct that aha can wash a
few* pieces at a time with no trouble at all. For although the mach
ine has • targe oapaoltyy, 1», work 1» done just aa effectively |f you wash
only a few towels.
Simply rop the clothes Into the sud . etart the motor and In a remark
ably short time the clothes are clean and ready for the line— no rubb
ing. no drudgery— and money saved every week- In fact, the Vortex
will soon pay for itself.
MECHANICAiLY PERFECT
All the mechanism of the Haag Vortex Washer Is In one compact unit
securely attached to the fame and completely covered— no exposed parts.
The Blow moving, silent, machine cut gears transmit the power direct
from the U H P. motor to washer and wringer. The motor and wringeT
each have two oil boles, while the balance of the moving parts have
illlesn bearing», with the exception of the main gear., which run In
hard oil.
The' motor Is mounted on a wood brse, providing complete insulation.
Supplied with ten feet of cord and pluy for attaching to electric
socket.

Vane Boynton left this morning
K.r Portland to k*r Mrs Bziyntoii
who will submit to a surgical opera
tion Friday morning at 9 o’clock- In
a Portland hospital. They went to
Portland last week, and Mr. Boyn
ton returned to Hermiston the first
of this week.
This gives you a stock thut will build an absolutely tight chick
en house at the same price as green lumber would cost. You cannot
afford to take a chance on using green lumber for a chicken
house when we will guarantee the stock that we furnish not to
shrink.
