The American Legion poet of
Heppner is promising visitors who
attend the big celebration that the
poet will stage there for three days,
July 3, 4 and 5. plenty of action
and entertainment. The celebration I
has been called an athletic carnival,
and a wide variety of sports events
have been planned.
A baseball game will be played
during the afternoon of each day.
The Pendleton Buckaroos will oppose
Heppner Saturday afternoon. The
