POULTRY HOUSE IDEAS
Tfce poor lumber dealer got an^hwful wallop not long ago. And
this Is the way It happened. Chicken houses were being built
at least twelve high with a wonderful arrangement of sash and
ventilators way up there io high that they might have served
as “lookouts" in the time of Invasion.
Since chickens are not built on the same plan as giraffes, folks
began to realise that all that super tructure was unnecessary.
Now they build their poultry houses not more than eight feet
high at the highest place. They have found that the chickens
can keep warmer and with a simple ventilating arrangement
they do much better.
But it doesn't take near as much lumber to build this new
style house, and that is why w6 feel discouraged, but it will
brighten us up a great deal tf you will build for 300 hens Instead
of for the 200 that you had thought of.
You can do it-for the same money
We'll sell the same amount of lumber and you will have in-
ceased your capacity flatty per cent without additional expense.
You”ll be happy and o will we.
