Los Angeles.—Noah’s Ark, built to
save the human race from the flood
of ancient Bible times, Is still ex
tant for all to see a fter 30, (MX) years.
This is the belief of Dr. C. E. Get
slnger, Egyptologist, now visiting Los
Angeles.
Doctor Getslnger’s conclusion Is
based upon recent discoveries follow
ing 35 years’ research work and In
tensive study. He declares th at the
Ark of Noah was not a ship. It was
the great pyramid of Cheops In Egypt.
Recent discoveries prove th at the
pyram ids— Noah's Ark and the others
—were under the sea for thousands of
years. Near the top of each of the
pyramids, at the same level, Is a
higliwater line, where a deep niche
has been cut Into the rock by the
lashing of a long-forgotten surf. Also,
the inner passages of the pyramids
are thickly crusted with salt, which
a chemical analysis proves to be sea
salt.
Doctor Getslnger Is convinced that
these monuments were built thou
sands of years before Cheops, to whom
they have been accredited. Cheops
merely repaired them and caused a
casing of stones to be built over
them.
Mystery of the Pyramids.
And he Is convinced th at the pyra
mid stands today a living monument
to an old and noble philosophy, a
g reater civilization than any we have
since attained. T hat great pyramid
which, together with the sphinx and
the nine sm aller pyramids, have for
centuries exercised the wonder and
astonishm ent of scientists, who have
frankly admitted th at they could not
have been built upon any known pos
sible conditions, and th at we have
even today no means by which the
Immense stones used in the construc
tion could he transported and adjusted
into tlielr present position.
In the great pyram id there are
three chambers which conform to
God's directions to Noah for the
building of the Ark against the com
ing of the greut flood-»—“with lower,
second and third stories shalt thou
make It.”
And these three chambers, named
for the three sons of Noah, Shem,
Ham and Japhet, Doctor Getslnger
thinks are intended to represent the
three strains of human life and In
telligence. The chamber of Shem, the
lower, symbolizes the anim als who
have no »fails. The second chamber.
Ham, symbolizes human beings with
souls, but of lesser Intellectual and
spiritual attainm ent. And the highest
chamber, th at of Japhet, symbolizes
the Inspired teachers—th e spiritual
Intellectuals, souls of g reater under
standing.
Spiritual Animals.
The entrance which is 52 feet above
the ground. Doctor Getslnger declares,
was so placed th at the North Star,
the polar star, could sliine directly
into the interior from the Heavens—
which It did 30,000 years ago, and
a fter a complete cycle, so shines again
today.
This Egyptologist thinks th at the
anim als that went Into the Ark were
not m aterial anim als but spiritual
animals, the anim als of the Zodiac—
Aries, the R a m , T aurus, the B u ll;
Cancer, the C ra b ; Leo, the L io n ;
Scorpio, the Scorpion (in sects); Ca-
pricomus, the G o at; Pisces, the 1 ish.
together with II. Gemini. Hie Tw ins;
Virgo, the Virgin; Libra, the Bal
ance; Sagittarius, the Archer, and
