Taking Desperate Chances
It Is true that many contract se
vere colds and recover from them
without taking any precaution or
treatment, and a knowledge of this
fact leads others to take their
chances Instead of giving their colds
the needed attention. It should be'
borne In mind that every cold weak,
tns the lungs, lowers the vitality,
makes the system less able to wlth-
tand each succeeding attack and
paves the way for the more serious
diseases. Can you afford to take such
chances when Chamberlain's Cough

H. K. Dean discussed diversified
farming and owing to the fact that
this section comes forward so early
in the spring, he favors the develop
ment of early potatoes, melons, and
corn for silage and feed.
L. A. Hunt gave definite credit to
the farm bureau for the passage of
the cooperative marketing bill and
the formation of the wheatgrowerr
and woolgrowers organizations, pay
ing high tribute to the state presi
dent, Mr. Mansfield, for his part in
securing definite results, Mr. Hunt
also discussed the hay market situ
ation describing it as "hand to

In Just exactly the same way. the money is slipping out of the
hide in your pocket If you are operating a motor car or truck that
ts cquiped with poor, leaky piston rings.
The fuel leaks down from the combustion chamber, past the
rings, because those rings do not seal the wail of the cylinder and
the groove of the piston. This fuel is absolutely wasted. Just as if
you had taken it directly from the tank, and spilled It on the
ground.
You paid good money for that fuel, yet you get nothing for it.
In a good many cases this waste amounts to 25 per cent or more.
