W. Nelson. Secretary- Manager of the La Grande organiza­ tion who was in Portland today con­ ferring with State Chamber of Com­ merce officials. The project as carried out In Union county is as follows, according to Nelson: The schools of the county are put on a competitive basis, and prizes are to be given to that school whose students .have collected and stored the most \egetable and fruit products.
