Notice Is hereby given that in ac­
cordance with ordinance No. 76 as­
sessment has been levied by the City
Council upon the following lots and
parcels of land in the Irrigation Dis­
trict established by said ordinance
for the purpose of collecting a special
improvement assessment to pay the
cost of water for irrigation for the
NEY of the SWY of Section 11,
Township 4 N. R. 28 EWM., the land
embraced in the Irrigation assess­
ment district provided for in said or-
dinance No. 76 and constructing and
maintaining an irrigation system
therefor.
The total amount of the assess-
mert in said Irrigation District i:
3503.83
The contract price to be paid for
government water and 0: and M.
charges is 3201.82.
The estimated Operation and Main
tenance charge in said District for
1921 is 3302. 01.
This assessment is now due and
payable at the Office of the City Re­
corder and if not paid by May 8, 1921
the same shall become delinquent
and shall bear Interest from said date
at the legal rate.
The amount of the assessment ap­
portioned and assessed against the
particular lots and parcels of land is

the waters of said Umatilla River,
situated in Umatilla County, State of
Oregon ;
Therefore, by authority of law
vested in the said Oregon State Game
Commission, notice is hereby given
that said Umatilla River, situated in
Umatilla County, State of Oregon,
beginning at a point in said Umatilla
River known as “Three Mile Falls
Diversion Dam,” and extending down
said Umatilla River from said Three
Mile Falls Diversion Dani for a dis­
tance of three hundred (300) feet,
in said Umatilla County, State of
Oregon, is hereby closed to fishing
of any kind or in any manner, for
trout or other fish, from and after
the 1st day of May. 1921, until again
opened by the Oregon State Game
Commission.
And it is and shall be unlawful
for any person to take or fish for
trout or other fish by any means
whatsoever in said closed part of
said Umatilla River from and after
the 1st day of May. 1921, until the
same has been reopened by order of
the Oregon State Game Commission.
Any and all persons whomsoever
so fishing in violation of this order
will be prosecuted as by statute pro­
vided.
