Dorothy Dalton, the charming Par
amount star who, under the direction
of Thomas H. Ince, has come to take
one of the highest places in film-
doni will be seen here Saturday,
August 7th, at the Auditorium in
‘‘Love Me.” one of her best pictures,
written by C. Gardner Sullivan and
supervised by Thomas H. Ince. "Love
Me,” which boasts an excellent cast,
is a story of a western girl, Maida
Madison who through their joint
profession of engineering, meets
young Gordon Appleby and eventual-
ly goes east with him as his wife,
How his severely exclusive family
refuse to recognize her and how she
finally at a great cost, manages to
win their love, makes a tale of ab
sorbing interest. An excellent cast
supports Miss Dalton. Don’t forget
the date.
SEARCHED FOR FUGITIVES
A posse hunting the fugitives from
the Pendleton Jail stopped In Her
miston for breakfast Friday morning
on their way out to search the coun
try around the Cold Springs reser
voir, following a slight clue that had
been obtained. It was claimed that
a Ford car was taken from Reith
Thursday evening, and had been
seen passing near Echo about four
miles to the westward at a terrific
speed.
Sheriff Anderson of Baker county,
Asa Thompson and Charles Hoskins
of Echo were among those in the car.
All men were heavily armed.

TO THE ALFALFA GROWERS
Is your hay for sale? We buy and
sell baled alfalfa hay in car lots.
We have storage room for baled
hay in any quantity, until the ware
house is full, at 50 cents per ton
per month, or part of month.
At present we have some unallot-
ed space. Parties storing hay with
us are under no obligation to sell to
us, though we give said parties, pref
erence on sale when we are buying.
We find it to our advantage to
have our hay baled and ready for
shipment, when the market demands
it.
At the present price of labor it
costs about »1.50 per ton to put the
hay from the wagon into the stack.
This will pay for three months stor
age, besides having your hay ready
for a quick market during this time.
We will be pleased to discuss the
hay situation with you at any time.
