Mrs. Colton, accompanying him on
the homeward journey.
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Reid are report­
ed as having gone through a siege of
sickness, and at this writing their
baby is ill with pneumonia.

Notice of Stockholders Meeting
An adjourned meeting from De­
cember 13, 1919, of the Hermiston
Farmers’ Exchange will be held on
Saturday evening,. February 14,
1920, at 7:30 p. m., in the assembly
room of the library in Hermiston for
the purpose of electing a new board
of directors for the current year.
Now that the receiver has com­
pleted his work, the board is anxious
2 to have all members attend. As the
0 afafirs of the Exchange are. in fair
3 condition, it will be necessary at the

meeting to decide what the senti­
7 ment of the stockholders Is for a con­
tinuation of the business.

ority of the City Charter of the City of Hermiston
and the direction of the City Council authorising
and directing the Treasurer of the City of Hermis­
ton to collect the unpaid assessment for the
city irrigation water for the year 1919, levied and
imposed under the provisions of Ordinance No. 76,
passed by the city council and approved by the
mayor on July 2, 1913, and ordinance No. 96 passed
by the city council and approved by the mayor on
April 17, 1918.
