Last week Hermiston had a bad fire, at which time Mr. Ward lost his
home and furniture.
Every stick of wood in the house and every piece of
furniture burned, leaving nothing whatever except his fine MAJESTIC
RANGE. Even his heating stove was ruined by the heat. This, however,
is not unusual with Majestic Ranges, as there are many instances in Ore
gon and elsewhere where houses have burned down when the Majestic
Range has fallen from second floor throu to basement and afterwards
taken out undamaged.
However. Mr. Ward's Majestic has had two such
experiences. It was in the Earl Carson house on Main street when that
gentleman's home burned down, and the Range was not injured. Now it
goes through a fire that even ruined a heating stove, yet Mr. Ward has
taken the Majestic into new quarters and it is none the worse for the sec
ond experience.
We have another large shipment of Majesties coming in a Pendleton
carload during the next few days and if you have a Range in mind, make
it a Majestic. There are many other reasons than the above for owning
a Majestic Range. Of course they cost just a little more than the ordinary
ranges do. but they are also worth mere than they cost.
