vacational visit this week at the home
of bis brother, C. L. Downer, in Spok­
ane. The latter is in the employ of
the Great Northern railway, being al
the head of the company’s big commis­
sary department in Hillyard.
Mr. and Mrs. Heinl and Lawrence
were Thanksgiving dinner guests at
the Keller home Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Leathers left
Friday of last week on receipt of a
telegram informing them of the ser­
ious illness of the gentleman's mother
at Chelan, Wash. After their depart­
ure another telegram was received
telling of the death of the lady.
Mrs. Barham and son Childs enjoy­
ed Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and
Mrs. Geo. E. Briggs and family.
