RED CROSS WEEK
has been set by
President Wilson as
June 18 to 25
During that week the United States will
raise $100,000,000 in subscriptions to help
the men who offer their lives on the battle
field for the defense of our country.
We Owe Them This and Far More
Mere money can never repay the debt to
those thus sacrificing themselves. It will,
however, go a long way toward alleviating
suffering for those wounded and sick. To
those who cannot share in the task at the
battle front it should be a privilege and an
honor to give so long as there is a dollar
left. We are all called upon to give our
share. Surely all will do so cheerfully.
The Red Cross Means
Men to hunt out the wounded
t at they may not lie on the battle field
Disinfectant
that the wound may be properly cleansed
Gauze and bandages
that the wound may be properly dressed
Splints
that shattered bones may be properly set
Chloroform
that operations may be made less painful
These are but a few of many thing that can
be done by the American Red Cross with
the $100,000,000 we are going to give
Help Humanity by Giving
